like + ving

  • Some verbs (like love enjoycan’t standhate) are normally followed by the v-ing.
  • We use these verbs to tell how do we feel (a general preference)
If someone likes something:




  • They like doing their homework.
  • I  love cooking Indian food. 
  • She enjoys watching TV
If someone dislikes something:







  • She can't stand cleaning her room.
  • He hates tidying his room.


 
Questions:

  • Do they like doing their homework?
  • What do you love ?
  • Does she enjoys watching TV?
  • Does he hates tidying his room?
  • What does she can't stand?
     
 

Negative:
  • They don’t like doing their homework.
  • I don’t love cooking Indian food. 
  • She doesn’t enjoys watching TV.
  • He doesn’t hates tidying his room.
